Psychotherapy insights
Helpful and inspiring training for small businesses
I offer short, in-person courses to small businesses, charities and organisations engaged in client facing roles. I share psychotherapy insights with employees, to help them understand their clients, and themselves, better.
Effective psychotherapy only occurs once a trusting, safe relationship is established between the therapist and the client. The same is true of many other professions which are client-facing. Years of professional experience, numerous qualifications – these are only of service once a client feels safe with you, and is open to your guidance. This process of building trust and safety can’t be rushed but it can be explained, with the rich insights that psychotherapy offers.
The Course
The Psychotherapy insights course runs for between four and six sessions, each lasting about an hour. The training takes place at your workplace. For locations outside of East and West Sussex, please get in touch to discuss.
Each course is tailored to your team’s specific needs and concerns, and the clients you are working with. The sessions are informal, friendly and interactive.

“The whole team has really enjoyed each session, and we’ve all been able to take away some interesting points and perspectives. The structure of each session and your personability made everyone feel at ease and comfortable asking questions, as well as making your sessions something that each of the team really looked forward to.”

Who I am
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor in private practice in Brighton and Hove. I am trained to a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Adult Psychotherapy, and have hundreds of hours experience working with clients, in person and online.
I am not a business coach promising to increase productivity or accelerate growth. Rather, I offer a psychotherapeutic lens on working with clients, helping you to understand the human context – why clients may think and feel as they do, and what that might provoke in you.
This is a chance to understand what makes humans, human; and to weave that understanding into daily working life so you can reassure, support and succeed with and for your clients.
Course participants can in turn apply these insights to themselves, becoming more attuned to their unique mental makeup. With this awareness, they become better able stay present, work calmly and avoid becoming drawn into games.
